Bridges to Safety (BTS)

Bridges to Safety (BTS) is a collaboratively-run, comprehensive, centrally located, service center for victims of domestic violence - located in the City of St. Paul.

SPIP is a lead partner and the administrator for BTS; where community- and government- agencies work in coordination to enhance protections for domestic abuse victims and their families.

Bridges to Safety Services

The BTS collaboration leverages scarce resources, and all direct services (advocacy, legal, police, courts, etc.) are provided in-kind by the partnering agencies. On-site partners and staff provide, free of charge:
  • Crisis intervention, safety planning, legal and personal advocacy services
  • Legal consultation and representation
  • Contact with law enforcement if needed
  • Assistance writing and filing for Protective Orders
  • Structured activities for children while parent or guardian is accessing services – when available
  • Access to child visitation services, shelter, basic needs and other critical services
  • Follow-up services from partners

Location & Hours

Bridges to Safety is located in the Ramsey County Courthouse/City Hall, 15 West Kellogg Boulevard, Room 140, St. Paul, MN 55102. Public transportation access is nearby. Open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment.
