The Partnership for Domestic Abuse Service operates Bridges to Safety, the domestic abuse service center that serves victims at the Ramsey County Courthouse/Saint Paul City Hall in downtown St. Paul. Open since June 2008, Bridges to Safety has served almost 5,000 victims with personal and legal advocacy, filing of Orders for Protection, civil legal services, consultation with law enforcement and prosecution, child care while the parent is receiving services, and referral to community partners. Bridges to Safety is survivor-centered, culturally appropriate, and a safe place for GLBTQ people.
St. Paul & Ramsey County Intervention advocates provide personal and legal advocacy services at Bridges to Safety, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
